How would you describe yourself to someone who can’t see you?
Beautiful inside and out. A couple of flaws, but I’m a work in progress, so comfortable with where I’m at.
Funny. If I’d been asked that a couple of years ago, I wouldn’t have been so quick or confident to respond like that. But something has shifted for me in ‘The Second 50’. I’m owning all of me. And while I’ll never be perfect, I’m enough. And I’m totally comfortable with that. Everything I do now is icing on the cake.
