This was us on Sunday.

Fresh air. Cool breezes. Outdoors. Adventure. Hiking. Friends. Laughing. Chatting. Planning. And the odd bit of back slapping as we affirmed our 4km accomplishment up and down paths and rocks.

The walk (hike) was stunning. There had been a fire through here at some point, and it was lovely to see the beautiful regrowth coming through.
I was tired but energised by the adventure. But I’m not surprised. Being in nature is known to reduce cortisol levels and muscle tension and can lower your heart rate and blood pressure).
There are 800+ hikes just in our state alone. I’m looking forward to the next one.
