The Second 50

Mornings – quiet, serene hours that see in a new day. That’s my favourite part of the day. 

The sun starts to show itself over the horizon. Shadows across the landscape. Birds are waking up.  Calling to their mates. So sweet.

Dew glistens on blades of grass and the tips of tree leaves. Dew reminds me of tiny diamonds.

Coffee is brewing. The scent of fresh beans is strong.

The day is full of promise. Mornings offer a sense of peace, a time to reflect, to dream, and to simply be.
