Why do you blog?
I blog because it’s a way to connect with others who share my interests or are open to reading the random thoughts of a stranger.
I use it a bit like a digital diary where I can record my thoughts, experiences, and discoveries.
Blogging allows me to express myself creatively, learn new things about me and the world around me, and build a community of like-minded individuals who resonate with what I write.
It’s a fulfilling way to share my passion/s with the world and make a positive impact.
It’s also, and perhaps oddly, a way for me to disconnect from social media.
It’s my little corner of the internet where thoughts and reflections are shared but without a desperate need to be validated. Waiting for social media ‘views’ and ‘likes’ is akin to perpetually waiting to be picked for a sports team at school. It’s a popularity contest that you’ll never win. Who needs that layer of stress in your life, right!
Over here, we are just writing and engaging because we can. It’s freeing and fun.
Stay writing, friends.
